I'm so glad that you "love your new house" and it was my pleasure to help you find it. Having said that, I really must respond to several errors of fact included in this review. 1) As Transaction Broker for both seller/buyer, I actually CONTRIBUTED part of my commission to bridge the gap between sellers'/buyers' expectations when negotiations hit an impasse. This is a verifiable fact: On the HUD statement, you'll see my commission was BELOW the customary, "full" 6%. 2) Out of professional and human courtesy, I make it a point to become as "close" to any Client as that particular Client needs. In this case, the seller was an elderly widow who required an extra dose of Tender Loving Care while selling her home after losing her husband. This, too, is a verifiable fact--no "pretending" about it. So, if being "close," available and kind to my elderly-widow Client was "disappointing" in any way...Well, I will never apologize for being a caring and compassionate Professional Realtor.
